One of the strategies pro bloggers implement in making their content remarkable to the audience is that they create list posts periodically and often which is the writing style that brings forth the largest audience in the online world.

Engage Your Audience Passionately

The extent or level of engagement on your site is also a crucial ranking parameter through which Google improves your page rank with time. More authentic comments on your blog equal more trust and more search engine rankings.

You simply build passionate engagement with your audience when, having written lots of informative posts to satisfy the readers’ appetites, you’ll still have to respond to all of their comments on time.

Google takes engagement so serious and, thus, ranks any blog that builds site engagement thoroughly and consistently.

Create a Business Page on Facebook and Create Engaging Posts Frequently

Help Your Facebook Fans Solve their Problems and Challenges

On Facebook, you have a huge potential to build a network or community through which you can help other people who are potential fans and the kind of people who follow you sheepishly and believe that they have a mentor who can help them solve their problems satisfactorily.

Build an Email List and Engage Your Subscribers to Avoid Penalties

When it comes to building lots of traffic, sending an email list could help a lot. This strategy generates almost instant traffic to your blog and building engagement with the active subscribers would help you maximize the earning potentials.

While using the email list, be cautious of how you treat the clicks and opens from sent emails as you may get penalized for sending emails to the dormant subscribers. Send an email only to those who click through, open the links as well as read down the page and make sure you engage all active subscribers as well.

  1. Hi Israel! I have been continually coming back to your site because it really has great content! Thank you for all the value you lay out in each post.

These suggestions you mention to rank our sites on first page are excellent. I have tried some of them but there are quite a few that I had never heard of. But they sound completely logical to me. I’ll try them and tell you what results came up.

One thing I have never done is to answer niche-related questions on Quora. And yeah, I realize I have not been leveraging Quora for high quality links. Thanks for mentioning it!

    • Thanks for being a great fan, Henry! Much appreciated! You’ll surely get lots of high-quality backlinks providing high-quality answers to niche-related questions on Quora. Thanks for the visit!

  2. This is a great post and good info.

All the points you said are true, if you don’t publish regularly, you’ll never be found on the first page, is the same with your comments, the way you talk with your audience.

Link building through platforms also helps, but don’t buy them, because you will suffer severe penalties.

Anyway, great post and thanks for sharing!

    • Thanks for stopping by, Emmanuel! It’s hard to get to the first page in Google without publishing frequently simply because the competition is high out there. Millions are those who are competing for the first-page ranking and you’re someone in the midst of the millions.

You’ll also have to do a lot of engagement on your site to improve your page ranking. Thanks for the visit!

  4. Hi Israel,

Awesome article! I really appreciated the reading!

I think that everyone would love to be on the first page of Google and it’s a good thing you suggest how to do it the right way. I didn’t know that we can get penalized by Google with the email list. I’ll check this further.

I don’t know what happened lately since the last Google update, but my rich snippet has disappeared, and this is really annoying because people tend to click more on site with stars. These snippets really helped rank on the first page of Google. Do you have any idea of what it could be?

Thank you for this excellent post!

  5. I 100% agree on the implementation of pro blogging strategies. Ranking on google takes time and effort, people nowadays think its as easy as 1,2,3…and some internet marketers make it sound like it is true, but they know damn well how hard it is to rank on the 1st page of google.

Keyword research, good quality content etc

  6. I frequently suffer from this problem – posts ranking well with certain search engines, then being completely ignored by other search engines!

Really glad I’ve come across your article as you managed to highlight what I need to do to get better coverage in Google. Will a specialized Facebook page really help my overall ranking and if so, how?

  7. Israel, Hi! I must say that I am learning from the articles on your site. Now, I will enter the discussion on the topic of your next article. How to get your website on the first page? Everyone understands and everyone wants to achieve this.

Who doesn’t want to get a rank on the first page of Google. I thought about it when I read yesterday the blog of our young successful friend. He said that the rating of his articles decreased in September this year.

We learn that the last few years Google pays great attention to searching for content, search intentions and topics.

Google’s algorithms are  trying to understand the connection between entities, themes, sub-themes and synonyms

Search engines are getting smarter. They search not only for a keyword / keywords phrase. They look at the intent of the search and understand that some searches have the same intention.

So, the conclusion is one. Keep learning.

Thank you for your instructive work. Mark

    • Thanks for stopping by, mark kabakov! Much grateful! Kudos for your determination to enter the discussion on the next topic of this blog! It’s really great to rank to the first page in Google as this will determine how much you’re going to be making on a daily basis from your blog.

You’re very correct that search engines have become smarter than ever as they consider so many metrics while ranking a blog in search results. Some of these include Content-quality, engagement, links, and many more. Thanks for the visit!

  8. Hitting first page of Google is like hitting the big time.  In almost all cases it does wonders for your traffic and potentially for your sales.

However getting first page of Google does require some work and an effort on bloggers parts.  You have outlined it very nicely on some good strategies to get to page one of Google.

My hat is off to you.  Thank you.

  9. Great post with some great advice for bloggers who wish to rank on the first page of Google. I learned a lot by reading your post. I did not know that one can be penalized for sending emails to dormant subscribers.  How would you make sure that you have more active and engaged subscribers? Is it better to just take the dormant subscribers off of the list?

    • Thanks for stopping by, Shy! Much appreciated! Yeah, you can get penalized by Google and the email service provider if you don’t take record of who is active and who has been dormant on your subscriber database.

You know who is active or otherwise simply by checking the opens, clicks, and all of that and you preferably remove those who have not been active at all from the list completely meaning that you do list screening for your safety in search engines.

      Thanks for the visit!
      Israel Olatunji

    • You’re much welcome, Shy! Thanks for stopping by! Getting your website on the first page is as crucial as building a multi-million dollar brand. You can receive a penalty from both Google and the email service providers for building email engagement with your subscribers. To be on the safer side, it’s better to take dormant subscribers off the list.

      Thanks for the visit!

  10. Excellently put together,  I love your posts.

Honestly, I have asked the same questions over and over…..  But thank you for your truthful answers which is the correct one anyway.  Applying the pro strategies to blogging solves the problem.  Showing up on Googles first page is achievable only by diligent effort. Creating good content and engaging in niche-related discussion also helps to become an authority in that niche.

    • Thanks a lot for your comment, Kehinde! Kudos to you, bro, for the commitment! Yeah, to resolve all blogging issues once, implementation of pro blogging strategies would be feasible. Appearing on the first page becomes a reality and within a few months once you can consistently continue working the techniques with the right energy.

You can easily become an authority in your niche through the creation of useful and informative content while engaging visitors. Thanks for the reading!

  11. Great article, honestly, you answered most of my questions on how to rank on Google. I have  a website that is now almost 7 months old, but very few pages are ranked on Google though they are ranking on number 1 on Yahoo and Bing. I have been finding Google to be so hard on ranking .

Thank you so much for advice on the use of Quora and Facebook Business page for link building and audience engagement. I found Quora to be easy to use but Facebook page is so hard without ads. Is there any trick I can use to boost my Facebook likes?

Thank you so much for a great article.

    • It’s not as if Google never wanted to rank your content and the blog, but it recently developed some special search algorithms through which it tracks all site performances and has created several platforms to further help site owners access some parameters on which their sites can be ranked fast in Google such as Google Analytics, Google Search console and all of that.

Appearing on the first page of Bing and Yahoo doesn’t matter at all but the very page where your blog is currently found in Google. Kudos to you for taking to advice on leveraging Quora to build links at the highest level!

You can still drive tons of traffic through Facebook even without buying the Ads packages at all. Thanks for the visit!

      Israel Olatunji

  12. It is really a lot of work but it is totally worth it. By following the strategies you listed above you might not even have to depend on google anymore for your traffic as long as you do the right thing.

Google is definitely important but I think there are a lot of people that don’t depend on google to get traffic to their website and they are doing just fine.

For example if you are able to build a good number of followers on facebook you can definitely leverage that medium and start directing traffic to your blog and making money from it. It is really amazing and a lot of people do it on a regular basis.

    • Thanks for stopping by, Jay! Much appreciated! Yeah, it’s truly a lot of work to be carried out together once, but they must all be implemented in order to start seeing results soonest.

Oh, you wouldn’t use the language that way. No matter how diligent you’re in building a site, you always need Google and depends solely on Google. Depending on Google doesn’t mean a day comes when Google will decide to bring forth a gift of traffic to anyone. Not at all! So, the phrase “Depend on Google” does not suffice at all as far as getting organic traffic is concerned.

No matter how active you’re in building social followers and social engagement, the traffic you get there is social traffic which is different from organic traffic. Thus, you only need to follow the pro blogging fundamentals and work the techniques with the right energy as suggested in this post to get your website on the first page soonest in Google.

  13. Hello Israel. Thank you for sharing these awesome tips to rank in Google’s First page. Showing up on Google’s First page is a great deal for any blog or website. This will increase the traffic of the website because it is visible on Google’s First page. More traffic means more sales. Thanks for these tip!

    • Hello BEazzy,

Thanks for your comment! Much grateful! Showing up on the first page in Google is really a great deal of work but you can surely get it even sooner than expected so far you can work the techniques with the right energy as explained in this post.

Yeah, when you begin to receive traffic, you’ll make more sales and more revenue. Thanks for the visit!

  14. Hi Israel,

Thanks for a very informative post with some great advice on how to master the Google ranking.

One question however related to Facebook. Would you recommend using your personal Facebook account to promote your niche and build engaging content?  I know you mention setting up a Business Facebook page but isn’t there a huge audience of personal friends and acquaintances that you can already tap into or would you recommend starting with a fresh audience and not mix business with pleasure?

    Thanks and regards,

    • Thanks for stopping by, Paul! Much appreciated! You can actually create a business page from the same personal Facebook account on which family and friends feature since the business is not to be hidden from some particular people at all.

You don’t ever need to create another account for business purpose as building social engagement with your audience using the same account which friends and family know about does not imply mixing pleasure with business at all.

      Thanks for the visit!

      Israel Olatunji

  15. Hey there! Thanks for these tips on how to get my website on the first page of Google or another search engine. I learned some things from you that I will definitely apply to my business strategy going forward. I have tried to post on forums but for some reason I keep getting banned. Some ban me before I even post anything. Do you know why that might happen? I don’t spam my link or anything like that.

    • Thanks for the visit once again, Marlinda! Much grateful for the comment! You’re truly doing blogging the right way and will surely rank your blog on the first page soonest. I’m so sorry about the frustration you’ve encountered on the different forums and this has been a common complaint I’ve frequently received via email from some audiences.

Anyway, I would like to ask you if you’ve once been banned from using the If no, then congratulations!!! alone can stand in place of more than a hundred forums because of its very high Alexa rank.

      Thanks for the engagement opportunity!

  16. Thank you for sharing this as I’ve been struggling for years to get my website on the first page of Google. Don’t get me wrong though, I’ve got some posts of mine on the first page, but overall though I have a long way to get the rest of my posts and website as a whole showing on the first page. I love how you listed out the strategies needed in order to make that happen and I now see that these are things I need to follow.

Consistency has always been my biggest struggle, but I need to overcome that in posting remarkable content daily just as you said. Getting my audience engaged is something else I’ve also struggled at, but this has been helpful on how to do that effectively. If all these strategies are implemented to a tee, how long do you think it would take to get to the first page of Google?

    • Thanks for stopping by, Brian! Much appreciated! It’s great to know that you’ve ranked some of your blog posts on the first page in Google. Kudos to you! And thanks for finding those strategies as useful as what you can follow!

Frequent posting of informative content on your blog together with lots of engagement done at all times is crucial to improving a page rank in Google.

Once those strategies are consistently implemented without interruption, getting a first-page ranking within 4-5 months is guaranteed. But if the consistency is not there, it may take longer to achieve a page ranking in Google. Thanks for the visit!
